I have tried twice to make a purchase on XXXX with a Bread XXXX XXXX XXXX card. The first time it was denied and I was told that they thought it was a fraud and it will be fixed. It happened again the next day when it was denied after being told that the problem has been solved. I called them asking why it has been denied since they issued this credit card to me. They are asking me to send them a copy of my social security card, my driver 's license, and a bill with my mailing address. I will not send them a copy of my social security card since I feel there is no need for them to have it. They are saying that after issuing this card and lowering my credit score that after I send them this information they will let me know in 30 days if I should get credit. If they aren't sure about if I should get credit or not, why did they issue a card in the first place? Since they said at the beginning of the call that it is monitored and recorded for quality assurance they should have a record of this.
