I made a payment of XXXX on XX/XX/2022 which was the full balance of my express credit card. Today is XX/XX/2022 and I went to use my credit card for a purchase and it was declined due even though I had just used it for {$25.00} for an online order in store. It would not allow me to make the remaining {$260.00} purchase even though my account reflects an available balance of {$270.00}. I called the credit card company ( comenity bank/bread financial ) and they said that the account was suspended. I asked how I used it for the {$25.00} and they couldnt give me an answer. Theyre holding my money hostage, I was not notified at the time of payment that it wasnt going to be available immediately, furthermore this has never happened before so why now?
