I initially reached out to RateGenius for a potential auto loan refinancing. I noticed that they did hard inquiries, so I canceled the request. It shows canceled on their dashboard. 16 days later, I received a notification that a hard inquiry was pulled on my from a company working with RateGenius, the new company working with RateGenius is called XXXX. I'm currently discussing the issue with the representative from XXXX assigned to my refinancing loan ; he has currently asked if I finished an application at XXXX this morning my time, to which I said no.
