Hello, I submitted a request to my student loan provider Edfinancial Services on XX/XX/XXXX for a refund all payments made during the Covid-19 student loan forbearance period since XX/XX/XXXX. This sum amount was approximately ~ {$17000.00}. Edfinancial has been unable to provide me with a receipt, physical documentation, or confirmation of my request and additionally has stated that it could take up to 1 year from submission of my request to receive my refund. I have contacted them multiple times since submission for an update on the status my refund and they have been unable to provide any information regarding the processing of my request. From what I understand, many Edfinancial users are having similar problems with this provider while other lenders have been able to provide their borrowers with refunds in a more clear and timely fashion. I am simply looking for assistance in receiving my refund from Edfinancial since it is not clear when or if I will receive one since my request as 6 weeks has already passed and I am unable to receive any updates or physical confirmation.
