Navient did not inform me about how I would need to consolidate through department of education directly for XXXXXXXX XXXX I was under the impression that Navient WAS an official department of education loan holder which would qualify me. They knew I was interested in XXXX and even asked if I worked for nonprofit for full forgiveness ( I havent ) but never offered to tell me how to become eligible for the XXXX. This is not the first time they have left me intentionally uneducated through omission of information. In years prior they didnt tell me about XXXX telling me instead that my only option was forbearance allowing themselves to profit off my ignorance for YEARS. Now they are telling me that the deadline to consolidate was XX/XX/22 through the department of education in order to qualify for XXXX XXXX which has conveniently passed. This is so unfair and wrong. They should be forthcoming about qualifying but thats never been in there self interest.
