I submitted a request to have funds returned to me in reference to the CARES act. I requested to have payments that i made during the pandemic to be refunded to me. I made the initial call on XXXXI 've been told this is in process and I would be kept in the loop on the status of this request. By this Thursday ( XX/XX/2022 ), it will have been 6 weeks with no status update ( via email or phone call from Nelnet ) in regards to this request. I've called multiple times and have been given different information from each agent I've spoken with ( it's in process or contact studentaid.gov ). With no movement so far, this is going beyond the window in which I was quoted ( 4 to 6 weeks ).
