My husband and I applied for a loan for a single wide to put in our property for our daughter and grandson to live in from Vanderbilt mortgage. We were promptly denied because our credit score was not above XXXX. It is for both me and my husband. My credit score is XXXX pts higher than XXXX XXXX stated mine was. My daughter applied and cant get the full amount financed so I agreed to co-sign. The request was denied, not based on credit worthiness but XXXX XXXX wont allow me to continue to own another mobile home ( which doesnt have a mortgage or any type of lien against it ). This is an unreasonable request and property that could be used to secure the loan. She has decided she is NOT going to loan to us regardless of credit score or credit worthiness and made that fact abundantly clear in our conversation today. It should be noted that creditworthiness or ability to pay is not an issue nor is it being considered. We have an annual household income of close to $ XXXX and no mortgage. The amount we are attempting to borrow is approximately $ XXXX.
