American Express did not send us a monthly bill and as a result we incurred late fees. When cancelling the card as a result, they made calculation errors which resulted in further fees for me, and they disputed that my annual fee should be refunded. I had to call four times to try to get a resolution and despite having a copy of the recorded call, they would not let me have a copy to prove that their employee had erred and my annual fee should be returned.
