Consumer Narrative
Kia Motors Finance issued me a check for {$4000.00} I never cashed it, it was stolen out my car I contacted kia about this matter 7 times insisting that they cancel it well they didn't so I called back again the lady stated that the check was cashed and will not be reissued this was a smack in the face this was a reimbursement check from the overage charges please help my family my son is XXXX and will be evicted soon I'm counting on this please look into this and re issue check XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX please mail to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, ga XXXX THIS WAS KFA RESPONSE I WANT THIS MATTER TAKEN SERIOUSLY! In their complaint, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Kia Finance America ( KFA ) issued him a refund check, in the amount of {$4000.00}, which was stolen from his car. XXXX XXXX states he has contacted KFA to request the check be reissued to him, but KFA advised the check had been cashed and would not reissue it. XXXX XXXX requests KFA reissue the refund check to him. While KFA is sensitive to the concerns of XXXX XXXX, it appears there may be some confusion regarding the refunds issued to XXXX XXXX. KFA issued XXXX XXXX refunds totaling {$4000.00}. KFA spoke with XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX, at which time he confirmed receipt of the refund checks, verifying the amounts and check numbers with KFA. Both checks were then cashed on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX contacted KFA, advising he had misplaced the refund checks, at which time he was advised they had previously been cashed. Should XXXX XXXX believe the checks were cashed by an unauthorized third party, he may contact KFAs Customer Service department, at ( XXXX ) XXXX, to have an investigation opened. THE FACTS IS TRUE I DID CAL KFA AND ASKED WHY WAS IT MAILED AND YES CONFIRMED RECEIVING BUT THEY WERE STOLEN OUT MY CAR BEFORE CASHING WHICH I EXPLAINED MY FAMILY NEEDS THIS MONEY THIS IS HUMILATION.JUST BECAUSE I RECIEVED AND CONFIRMED I GOT IT DOESNT MEAN I CASHED IT
