I have disputed the same collection account with all 3 bureaus several times, I've contacted Source Receivables regarding the debt, and I even filed a complaint with CFPB about the credit bureaus. I have provided evidence that the information is incorrect and still nothing has been corrected. They continue to report a debt that is XXXX years old as XXXX years old. The debt has been sold several times from XX/XX/XXXX until XX/XX/XXXX. The amount of te debt haas changed 3 times it was {$580.00}, XXXX, and XXXX. The debt is not from a credit card company it is from XXXX. Therefore the amount should have remained the same being there is not any interest being charged. I have explained this to them and they continue to illegally report incorrect information. It seems no matter what debt collection agencies does the credit bureaus take their side right or wrong. They never take the side of the consumer actually no one helps the consumer. I refuse to allow them to report the same old debt for another 5 years. I have copies of my credit reports to verify that I am telling the truth. I also have a letter from the very first collection agency showing the original date of collection and collection amount. I submitted it to all of the credit bureaus and they totally ignored it when I disputed the debt XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. I have contacted the debt collector Source Receivables Management asking for the validity of the debt from the original creditor XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and I have yet to hear or receive anything from them.
