Consumer Narrative
From my very first contact I told the associate with Amerisave Mortgage Company XXXX XXXX that I had no Money for down payment or closing costs. The seller was giving me a {$9000.00} credit for those expenses because I am the current XXXX tenant @ the house l am looking to buy. XXXX told me he would be able to get the loan closed with just my XXXX income. I later gained employment through a XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX company. XXXX then told me that he would not be able to use my XXXX income and that the deal would look better if we included my income from my job. This was in XXXX. A few weeks went by the loan was approved the disclosures were sent to me stating an outrageous closing cost of around {$14000.00}. They approved I got ahold of XXXX asking why the costs were so high. I told him I would be unable to come up with so much for closing costs. I reminded XXXX of what I told him with our first interaction. He said they couldn't use the seller credits. He said he could use the credits if I were at my job long enough. I asked how long that would be. He said 6 months. He then suggested that I pay the seller {$1500.00} a month for 3 months in earnest money. The additional 3 months would have me employed long enough to satisfy the need of 6 months @ job, and the earnest money paid would allow the seller credits to be applied. I asked XXXX what would be needed to close as far as Money, and stipulations. XXXX said he would need 1, my most recent pay check stub. XXXX then got ahold of the seller to explain the situation and attempt to get him to agree as he did. The earnest money was paid. So XXXX came around, It took about 2 weeks for XXXX to finally get in contact with me. I uploaded my paystub as requested. As time went on stipulations were given that were not given when I started the process, such as discharge paperwork for a XXXX XXXX XXXX I had been involved in more than 7 years ago which is shown as discharged on my credit report, & reason for not working prior to my current employer, which I explained on their company site it was due to being diagnosed with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and that I had begun XXXX XXXX. It seems as soon as I disclosed my medical conditions there were problems with me not getting enough hours at work. This whole process took almost a year. & I have not gotten any denial paperwork.
