I paid my balance on my DISCOVER credit card in FULL on XX/XX/2022 which was {$530.00}. I called DISCOVER to make sure that they received the payment and I was told that the amount should take about 2-3 business days to post and then I would be able to use my card. I called DISCOVER back on XXXX XXXX to check on my available account balance because my card declined after the payment had been processed from my checking account in my regular bank, XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX The agent told me that there was a verification that needed to be done and she did it over the phone and said that I was all set and could use my card now because there was a hold because of the verification and now the hold has been lifted and I'm all clear. However, when I tried using my card on XXXX XXXX, it was declined again. Ever since then I have called DISCOVER 2-3 times and either the call does not go through or the agent or manager tells me to wait for the hold to be lifted. This has never happened before to me, on the same day I paid off my XXXX XXXX card in full, they gave me the available balance within the course of 2-3 business days and I was able to use my card.
