XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. In XXXX of XXXX, due to covid, all my gigs were canceled XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I still, to this day, have residual effects from covid. I had refinanced with a company at the end of XXXX, who then sold my mortgage to Amerihome Mortgage Company. Having been severely impacted by covid, I first applied to Amerihome Mortgage Co. for forbearance. In XXXX, I first applied for a workout package and a mortgage modification. I had to re-apply 3 times, in XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. The first time they sent me the wrong form. The second time they didnt review it in a timely fashion and so I was denied because it was outside of the time frame. The third time I was in the trial modification and was told I needed to pay an escrow deficit. I borrowed money from my family to do this and when I did, they denied my modification, so I cancelled the payment and returned the money to my family. Then, XX/XX/XXXX, I was approved for a trial modification, and on XX/XX/XXXX, someone arbitrarily changed the trial modification to a deferment, so the modification was again cancelled. It took a month of daily phone calls to get them to fix that mistake. The deferment was finally removed on XX/XX/XXXX. All throughout this process, I could never talk to the underwriters and the representatives I talked to gave me consistently wrong advice. The stress of dealing with this company has been unbelievable. I couldnt sleep or eat and my XXXX levels were through the roof. Throughout the entire modification process they would call me randomly at XXXX in the morning, and send me multiple letters saying I was in danger of foreclosure due to missed payments. The modification was finally approved in XX/XX/XXXX of XXXX. I called every week and was told they were still researching things and I should contact XXXX XXXX, which I did in XXXX of XXXX, but never heard back. They reported me as delinquent to the credit bureaus, which was a separate battle to get them to rectify and which took until XXXX for them to fix. I received the final modification papers in XXXX. They had the wrong date for the beginning of payments ( XXXX XXXX, XXXX ), and I wanted to fix that and I had questions about the additional {$4000.00} added on to the modification, and if there would be a way to work with the escrow department to keep my mortgage payment low. I called with these questions and was told that I couldnt speak to anyone in the loan departmentthey were too busy, and the only way to address the questions was to write an appeal, which I did. I faxed my appeal on XXXX. As soon as they got my appeal, they cancelled my modification and then sent me a letter saying I was two months behind in my mortgage and in danger of foreclosure. On XX/XX/XXXX, they denied my appeal. I called and said there must be a mistake and was told it was no mistake. It is interesting that I received both the final documents and the cancellation of the modification in XXXX, but on their website where documents are stored, they have no documents for XXXX. I called again, and was told I could appeal the appeal. I resubmitted the appeal on XXXX I called a third time and they immediately sent a letter denying this appeal as well, and when I spoke with a representative, I was told I needed to re-apply ( for the fourth time ) for a modification. Also, since I had no clue they would cancel my modification and declare that I was months behind in payments, I have applied to HAF to help with the back payments and they will review my case on XXXX XXXX, XXXX ( when it will be a full 3 months behind by their standards ).
