I was told by the representative that I would not be receiving confirmation of my request for a refund, nor a notification that my refund has been processed. I have no formal confirmation that my request even occurred. Further, the representative could not provide me with an estimate of when my request would be processed, and when pressed, the representative told me it would be " months. '' I had originally paid my student loan balance in its entirety with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in or around XX/XX/XXXX. EdFinancial subsequently took over loans being handled by EdFinancial. I asked the EdFinancial representative how I would now manage my newly refunded student loan balance, and was told that they did not know. I am being provided absolutely no information about how this refund process will work, or how to reestablish payments once my balance is restored.
