My complaint is about Equifax Credit monitoring. I'm experiencing some type of computer/technical scoring error on my credit file with them. Typically, if a decrease in the balance of an account happens and there are no other changes but the decrease, the credit score will increase because utilization goes down. In my case, since XX/XX/2022, whenever I pay a portion or even the full balance of an account, my score is dropping and it's dropping by the same each time of 75 points! I have spoken to several agents at Equifax and they have not been able to help and stated that there is no one there that can help with a credit score issue. I know that they have to have a department that can look into this, but no one is willing to assist, I really need help with this, because it is making my file unstable and unpredictable and I'm afraid to pay down balances or even apply for credit now.
