On XXXX XX/XX/2022, I instructed Upgrade Inc ( XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX, XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX, AZ XXXX ) to close XXXX lines of credit I had with this lender. Upgrade Inc indicated that it would take up to 10 business days for their " back-end servicer '' to close the accounts. More than 10 business days later ( XXXX XX/XX/2022 ), the accounts have yet to be closed and Upgrade Inc will not provide any updates or further information regarding the status of these accounts or my previous instructions to close them. The delay/refusal to close my credit accounts is exposing me to personal risk in the event that my card information is stolen and used fraudulently : I would ultimately have to plea my case that any fraudulent transactions were in fact unauthorized/fraudulent, which would cost me time and possibly money.
