Consumer Narrative
I moved out of the apartment unit due to damages and flooding throughout the entire building caused by Hurricane Irma. The association allowed tenants to move out without any penalty however, they want to charge me for moving out of my unit. I am not liable for the damages caused by the storm and should not be penalized for breaking my lease agreement just like all the other tenants due to unlivable conditions. These charges are not fair and are damaging my credit report.
