I submitted my final payment in full on Saturday, XX/XX/XXXX to Sallie Mae. The payment continues to being identified as processing on Sallie Mae 's site. This is accruing interest because the processing has not cleared, even though I completed the pay-off amount/final payment. I reviewed my bank statement, and the payment has not reached my bank. There isn't a charge at all for the transaction. This is abnormal. I have paid off two other loans from Sallie Mae, and it has never taken this long to process a payment. I reviewed my credit report, and they are running checks on it. This is inappropriate, and calls into question their cooperativeness and intent toward borrowers.
