On XX/XX/2022, I filed a dispute against a debt with XXXX, original owner, XXXX XXXX closed the account & sold it to XXXX. On XXXX the XXXX 2022, I received a alert from XXXX XXXX informing me that my credit score had dropped XXXX points. This was supposedly due to a remark that XXXX XXXX had placed on my file. I contacted Equifax and they informed me that the investigation had not been finalized, and NOT AWARE of any remarks XXXX XXXX placed in my file. I IMMEDIATELY contacted XXXX XXXX again to inform them that they have no evidence to lower my credit score and that they acted prematurely. The only response that I could get from them was to refer to my file and read the remark.1 ) XXXX XXXX had no communication with Equifax and made a decision with intent to negatively impact my score. 2 ) XXXX XXXX used unfair practices which will bring a negative impact to my borrowing power and reduce offers I am currently receiving. I will be subject to higher interest rates and fewer loan approvals, etc. 3 ) I have disputed this SAME debt with Equifax for over a year as " Not being mine/no knowledge of account/someone with similar name and NEVER impacted my score. 3 ) Equifax had a data breach and refuse to acknowledge that in this situation. This " remark '' ( falsehood ) has been hidden and XXXX XXXX will note reveal it too me. Please assist, Thanks!
