I was told originally by my local XXXX to mail in paperwork related to my car 's title to get my plates updated for my vehicle as I moved states. I mailed in the paperwork back in XX/XX/XXXX to Bridgecrest, which they claimed for weeks they did not receive, but kept advising me to " keep calling in to check. '' They then recommended I email in the document since that was " much faster, '' with a total processing time of eight ( 8 ) weeks. I emailed my documentation on XX/XX/XXXX and still have not been able to get updated plates for my vehicle. I called into the company 10+ times to get this resolved, trying to understand the issue. Every few phone calls I received a different answer, either from the customer service representative or the " XXXX account resolution team, '' telling me the paperwork was still getting processed by the XXXX XXXX ( who did not take phone calls, so could only be reach by IM or message by various other teams reportedly ) or that someone created the wrong case which was routed incorrectly. Each time, Bridgecrest kept telling me that I had to keep calling in for updates, now way past the eight ( 8 ) week processing time and still without my updated plates. The last update I received was XX/XX/XXXX, as the title received was printed but incorrectly routed, therefore it was taking more time. I asked the representative if they had an estimated time frame for the resolution which they claimed they messaged the mysterious Title Team but after our call, once they receive a response, they would update my account for me so the next time I called in, there would be an XXXX listed. Again, I was told to keep calling back for updates and when I called XX/XX/XXXX, there were no updates and no XXXX listed on the account. on XX/XX/XXXX, they emailed me a sparsely worded letter to potentially bring to the XXXX, where they state they have " requested the XXXX title from their XXXX XXXX and should receive it in XXXX weeks. Once they receive the paper title, they will overnight to the address provided by the customer. '' It has been well over a month since then, still no update and how/why this took since the beginning of XX/XX/XXXX to complete is absurd.
