I recently viewed my credit report and noticed a XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX self account that was not mine. I contacted the creditors explaining that I am a victim of identity theft. I am for certain that the alleged debt do not belong to me. They responded via mail stating that they had completed the investigation and the items were not deleted, as requested. I reached back out to them requesting the following ; copies of the original contract with my signature, copies of any papers that I agreed to pay what you say I owe, and explain what bounds me to them.Also, what kind of business dealing have I done with them? By law, everything on my credit report must be accurate, verifiable, and reporting a timely. If not, information must be removed from my credit report. Unfortunately, the problem was not resolved and they have yet to to provide signed documents with my signature.
