Hello. I made my 1st mortgage payment to Everett Financial dba Supreme Lending. Payment should have arrived no later than XX/XX/2022. However, as of today, XX/XX/2022, they have yet to process my payment. The only option they provided to make a mortgage payment was to mail in a check, despite the significant risk to doing so because of the likelihood of mail theft. I have verified the mailing address to ensure the check went to the correct location. I have also verified that I provided the correct loan number on the check- Supreme Lending has not provided me an account number. I have called Supreme Lending twice taking time away from my work schedule because they are only available doing general business hours. They have said that they have not received the check & implied I should have sent it certified mail. I don't believe I should have to spend the time or money to do that. They also said they may be behind in processing & will check with their processing department to see if the payment is awaiting processing. They have not gotten back to me with that information. I am at risk of being in default on my home mortgage payment or risking making a 2nd payment only to have them cash both checks. I don't have the money for that. Nor do I have the time to spend on multiple calls to them and my bank to resolve this issue. In the year 2022, they should have provided me a secure method to make my payment online. They did not. They are now making it my problem to address this issue and it's costing me money because I have to do it during my normal working hours.
