I received a credit monitoring alert, for a hard inquiry by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XX/XX/2022. I called XXXX to let them know I did not apply and they confirmed my social security number was used to apply for an account. I filed and obtained a police report for identity theft. There have been four request made to Equifax to remove the fraudulent inquiry, dated XX/XX/2022. To date the inquiry has not been deleted or blocked, despite the fact that Equifax has been sent a copy of my driver 's license, social security card, utility bill, identity theft police report, and notarized FTC ID Theft Affidavit ; each time.
