I have always used automatic payment to pay my monthly mortgage with Homebridge Financial. On XX/XX/2021, Homebridge returned the mortgage payment to the bank. I did not find out until a month later when i was notified by the credit bureaus that i had a 30 day late notice on my credit report. The funds were in my bank account and this was an error on behalf of Homebridge. I have a letter from my bank ( XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX ) which states that the funds were in my account at the time Homebridge tried to take the payment and it should have never been returned. I tried reaching out to Homebridge many times for almost a year now and no response from them at all. My loan officer has also tried to rectify this with corporate to no avail. I disputed with all three credit bureaus and they notified me that they submitted the dispute to the " furnisher '' which is Hombridge but they have not received a response as well. I am asking that Homebridge please have this information removed immediately from my credit report as this was their error. I tried to apply for a home equity line of credit but was denied because of this negative account on my credit. Please help me get this cleared with Homebridge Financial.
