I applied for consumer credit on XXXX XXXX with Pen Federal. I was denied and sent an email stating why. On XXXX XXXX I called and spoke with XXXX the assistant manager in finance regarding the application. I was told that I was denied do to having too many inquiries. I then stated to her that I used my social to access this consumer transaction which is based on my unlimited credit. I also stated that they are in violation of 15 USC 1611 by denying me this. She told me I will also recieve a letter in the mail stating this. I told her that I'm aware of the step that are taken. I also stated that they are in violation per Regulation B and many other laws that their " key factors '' are unacceptable and that they should be compliant with the ECOA.I asked to speak with the underwriter and was told that the underwriter only makes calls if he is needing more information from the consumer. XXXX then stated that she could have her supervisor give me a call. An hour later I received a call from XXXX. I explained to her everything that I explained to XXXX. She then stated that I was denied specifically do to my credit score. I asked if I could get that sent out to me stating that exact reason. I was told " no, and that I should try to get my credit score up more ''. Per the ECOA under 'Prohibited Practices, Credit Scoring Systems , and Judgmental Evaluation System '' and many other laws they have take adverse reaction against me.
