My business partner ( XXXX XXXX ) died XXXX XXXX, 2018. We had a business ( XXXX XXXX ) and a bank account at Wells Fargo account number XXXX. When XXXX died there was approximately {$8000.00} left in the bank account. We have been trying to get the funds released so we can close out XXXX XXXX with the IRS. This is our second complaint because the last complaint yielded the same results. Wells Fargo claims the account has been closed and the funds sent to the State of Texas. According to the State of Texas unclaimed property, the money from Wells Fargo is not there. We have been trying to get these funds released for almost 4 years and we keep getting the same run-around from Wells Fargo XXXX
