On XX/XX/XXXX, at XXXX XXXX a person contacted me on XXXX regarding tickets to an event I was hoping to attend. They asked me to pay first, to which they would send me tickets via XXXX. Being desperate, I pay the money to their XXXX, which doesn't go through at first. So instead, I send the money again but this time through Paypal. I was desperate, so I didn't notice the different names on the XXXX accounts. I sent the payment at XXXXXXXX XXXX and it wasn't until I received an email from a fake account that was not XXXX that I understood that it was a scam, where it was around XXXX XXXX. At around XXXX XXXX, I file a claim for unauthorized activity, saying I didn't know who the person was as an attempt to get a refund, which was denied on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXXXXXX XXXX. The file attached is the email I received after I sent my payment. ( see the name of who sent the email, the email address itself, and additionally all of the hyperlinks were just gray text with no actual link. )
