I bought my first car in 2019 after the fact I had some issues with them pulling my credit using my social security number and I had to have my dad cosign. A few months after I got a call from a lady who thought I was using her credit as fraud. That however was not the case my social and her social are one digit off our birthdays are about two weeks apart born the same year and both of our names are identical other than middle names, so I believe we have a file mix up. After multiple failed attempts to contact all the credit bureaus to get access to my credit report I could not access because the information is combined. I was informed by the bureaus to mail in a letter with an explanation on the issues and a copy of my social and id. I did that and only got two bureaus to respond and all they sent me were my credit reports which showed me that the social on my accounts was not mine, but it was my name it also had the other lady 's name on my credit report the addresses were also mixed up. I have multiple debts on my credit report that are NOT mine there is also multiple applications for things I have never applied for. It also shows student loan and a home mortgage it is a complete mess and as I said above, I have been in contact to all the bureaus and none of them have offered any assistance on helping get the files separated I do not have access to any online credit reports to even go dispute things because I can't verify information that's connected to my social because it's the other womans information. I am very upset that the bureaus have not taken this issue more seriously I can not get approved for anything I apply for I can't own a home or even get a student loan if I wanted to this issue needs to be resolved asap, I have tried multiple attempts to fix the issue myself and have just been sent in circles.
