My complaint is with FCR Services, which is being used to collect a debt I owe to XXXX XXXX. I rented a vehicle with XXXX on XX/XX/22 - XX/XX/22. After returning the vehicle, I had a small balance owed of {$41.00} for gas refilling. I was unable to pay this right away, and was planning to pay within a couple weeks. However, XXXX sent my account to Collections on XX/XX/22 - not even 10 days after I returned the vehicle! And now, FCR is charging me an additional {$50.00} in collection fees, for a total of {$91.00}. Everything about this screams unfair and abusive. The fees are more than the original balance owed, and XXXX did not give me nearly enough time to settle my debt with them before sending me to collections, causing possible harm to my credit report and putting an unjust financial burden on me.
