I appreciate the effort done by the Credit Bureaus to remove a portion of the disputed Fraudulent items being reported on my Credit Report. However, I immediately noticed that some of the fraudulent items are still being reported. I am now submitting this CFPB Complaint to request another investigation and if possible be completely removed from my Credit File. I have read that the Credit reporting Agencies are required to remove any account and information that could have been resulted due to identity theft under the Fair Credit Reporting Act section 605b. If the Credit Bureaus claim that the disputed accounts belong to me, I need the Credit Bureaus to please provide me copies of documents bearing my signature as proof of verification. Some of the disputed accounts were already deleted from the other Bureaus and it makes me wonder why is it too difficult for the other Credit Bureaus to not remove the disputed items from my Credit Report.
