I co-signed for a rental agreement for my XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX that ended in XXXX, I believe XXXX or XXXX. I informed lessor I wasn't going to renew lease and XXXX informed lessor she was moving out. That's all the contact I have had with the company. I didn't know about this balance or what it is for such as rent or damages. I have had no mail or emails from the company since XXXX. If not for my mortgage company notifying me there was a derogatory entry on my credit report, I still wouldn't have known it was there. I am requesting they take this off my report since they haven't even sent me a bill or letter to contact them. I would suggest to them I can't pay something I have no knowledge of. According to the credit reporting act, it is my understanding they have to show proof they have billed me prior to reporting to credit bureau, which they haven't. For this reason, I am requesting this be removed. The lessor was XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX and Hunter Warfield is connected somehow, not sure how.
