Consumer Narrative
My loan was transferred from XXXX to NelNet. The balance may be accurate, although I believed it to be lower, the problem lies with the verification, none of my payment history transferred over, my wife 's loans were transferred to a new provider and her complete payment history is available, the same is true for some of my other friends. This feels deceitful and predatory, it feels like they're hiding information from me for a reason I can only assume benefits them and costs me. How am I supposed to know the balance is correct? Shouldn't a complete payment history be included in the transfer to the new loan servicer?
