Two separate dispute letters for reinvestigation was sent on the same day for the following items : Collection : XXXX XXXX XXXX and Employer Information : XXXX XXXX. The letter requesting the validity of alleged debt for collection item XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and request to remove the previous employer XXXX XXXX was XX/XX/XXXX XXXX On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter from Transunion stating it does not appear that I am the authorized party requesting a dispute and my request for investigation will be processed. I sent another letter on XX/XX/XXXX with proof of identity requesting to investigate inaccurately of the employer and validate the accuracy of the collection with XXXX XXXX XXXX. The request was received XX/XX/XXXX with Transunion. Now it is XX/XX/XXXX, and I have not received any contact from the company regarding my dispute. Transunion has a duty to be fair and equitable to me as the consumer. Also provide fairness and accurate credit reporting as an elaborate mechanism. Transunion has failed to follow federal law and I have lost confidence that Transunion is assuming a vital role in assembling and evaluating me the consumer 's credit and other information in my consumer credit file. As a federally protected consumer, I have the right to privacy, and the information that being disclose from Transunion is in my opinion reporting inaccurate data. The following laws according to FCRA ( Fair Credit Reporting Act ) has been violated : 611- Procedure in Case of Disputed Accuracy " 15 USC 1681i ( c ) 605- Responsibilities of furnishers of information to consumer " 15 USC 1681-2 ( b ) ( 1 ) Federal law requires that written request to investigation what the consumer believes to inaccurate should be promptly conducted within 30 days. Once the investigation has been completed and the consumer challenges the decision. The company has 15 days to complete. The allotted timeframe has passed and Transunion has failed to follow the law. This information listed above is a serious violation of the FCRA ( Fair Credit Reporting Act ).
