I visited a few car dealerships to shop around and explicitly told these dealerships that I do not want my credit report run because I will be getting financing through my credit union as well as making a down payment. These dealerships then took it upon themselves to run my credit report over 20 times across different banks to try and find a rate that would beat my credit union even though I had just asked them not to do that. They did so against my wishes because they were aggressively trying to make sure I left with a vehicle that day. Below are these frivolous inquiries segmented by the credit bureau.
