am a XXXX XXXX American Veteran rated at XXXX XXXX In XXXX of XXXX I relocated from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX intending to purchase a home for retirement. Before relocating I had secured an apartment in XXXX XXXX to live during my home search opting on " XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. '' located @ XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX, XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, and signing a 13 month lease. In XXXX of XXXX I received a letter informing me that the property management at XXXX XXXX would be assumed by " XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX '' aka XXXX. In XXXX of XXXX I closed sale on a New Home and vacated the XXXX XXXX promptly and on time on XX/XX/XXXX and after moving from XXXX XXXX I had monitored my online account with XXXX for over a month making my last attempt to log into the account I discovered that the account had been closed. Naturally this indicated to me that business was complete and without issue. On XXXX XX/XX/XXXX I received an email from XXXX XXXX stating that I owed {$310.00} and if not immediately payed would be referred to collections. I immediately contacted XXXX XXXX and arranged to meet with them and discuss the unexplained charge. I delivered to them all receipts as well as every contractual & financial transaction made between both property managements and myself. After refusing to view my personal records the XXXX XXXX associate informed me that she could not explain the discrepancy of {$310.00} and blaming the former management for the error. I explained that I would gladly pay the {$310.00} upon proof of it's authenticity. The XXXX XXXX associate then informed me that they would report back to their manager and would definitely contact me or call me back, but I was never contacted with any proof that I owed this debt. In XXXX of XXXX I received an letter from " XXXX XXXX '' located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, FL XXXX, Informing me that they had purchased the debt of {$310.00} from XXXX and was attempting to collect. As I write this, I have never had any direct correspondence with Hunter Warfield except for my request for a letter of validation. On Wednesday XX/XX/XXXX I received notification through my paid XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX that my credit score changed from XXXX XXXX XXXX overnight due to this unverified debt. I have also learned while researching this claim that XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Apartments were yet again under new management with " XXXX XXXX XXXX.
