Based on my last two complaints filed XXXX & XXXX ; it has been over 30 days and I have not recieved a response from Experian yet. According to 15 U.S. Code 1681i - Procedure in case of disputed accuracy, if the completeness or accuracy of any item of information contained in a consumers file at a consumer reporting agency is disputed by the consumer and the consumer notifies the agency directly, or indirectly through a reseller, of such dispute, the agency shall, free of charge, conduct a reasonable reinvestigation to determine whether the disputed information is inaccurate and record the current status of the disputed information, or delete the item from the file in accordance with paragraph ( 5 ), before the end of the 30-day period beginning on the date on which the agency receives the notice of the dispute from the consumer or reseller. Just from this along ... Since I DID NOT get any type of correspondence within the last 30 days that is a violation by itself. Furthermore, it was stated that the items on my credit report were verified. According to 15 U.S. Code 1681a - Definitions ; rules of construction The term investigative consumer report means a consumer report or portion thereof in which information on a consumers character, general reputation, personal characteristics, or mode of living is obtained through personal interviews with neighbors, friends, or associates of the consumer reported on or with others with whom he is acquainted or who may have knowledge concerning any such items of information. However, such information shall not include specific factual information on a consumers credit record obtained directly from a creditor of the consumer or from a consumer reporting agency when such information was obtained directly from a creditor of the consumer or from the consumer. How were the items on my credit report verified? And with whom? Where is the documentation? This in itself is another violation because a proper investigation was not conducted. And I HAVE NOT recieved any such evidence of a proper investigation being conducted. According to 15 U.S.C 1681 Section 604 A Section 2 : It states a consumer reporting agency can not furnish an account without my written instructions. Thus another violation. With these three laws, it is clear Experian is not looking out for me as the consumer and they are only doing what they want for their own benefit. And within three different laws, I have documented proof of violations by Experian. I am the consumer, I find this unfair, unjust, and it is imparing me from being able to take the next step in my life and buy a house due to the poor behavior they are inhibiting. I do also know that the reporting agencies must report information accurately. I attached my most recent credit report, and I am seeing multiple discrepancies amongst the bureaus, regarding the information being reported. Again another violation. Lastly, along with the previous complaints filed with the CFPB, I am also including Tracking numbers I have sent to Experian trying to amicably resolve this issue due to THEIR NEGLIENCE and LACK OF CONCERN for the consumer. I feel I have given Experian several opportunities to correct their behavior.
