Consumer Narrative
I called on XX/XX/XXXX to request a refund of payments made since XX/XX/XXXX under the CARES Act and the rep said she would submit the request. However, there is no confirmation given and the timeline to reinstate my loans and to get the refund varies significantly to other servicers. In addition, I called back on XX/XX/XXXX to ensure my request was submitted and this rep said a complete different timeline and is no sort of confirmation available. I am essentially in the dark on whether or not these payments will get refunded to me and when. There is a lack of standardization and transparency regarding getting payments refunded.
