I'm a victim of identity theft. I have called and sent certified letters to Clarity Services ( a part of experian ) to obtain PEMANENT Opt-out of prescreened promotions. I mailed ( via certified mail ) Clarity Services all the documents that they required to process a permanent opt-out of prescreened promotions, including copy of my FTC identity theft report, XXXX Police report XXXX copy of my NM driver 's license, copy of my social security card. I have received a letter confirming XXXX extended fraud alert and security freeze. However, I asked for PERMANENT Opt-out of pre-screened promotions and this has NOT been accomplished by Clarity Services ( a part of experian ). I also requested my free copy of consumer file disclosure. I would like cfpb 's assistance in this matter. thank you.
