My complaint is directed to XXXX XXXX XXXX Credit Card. On XXXX XXXX, I took a guarantee offer from XXXX XXXX, stating that my approval odds in applying for XXXX XXXX XXXX Credit Card is outstanding and that they will credit me a {$50.00} amount if I get denied. I understand that this ad or promo does not guarantee me of 100 % assurance since I have had a fair share of denials in the past while I was just starting to build my credit history. To this date, I have XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and just recently, a XXXX XXXX Credit Card. All of which had an eligibility screening. Meaning, I can only apply if I am eligible. The main problem I have with XXXX XXXX is the illogical reasoning for my denial, they stated that I AM NOT ELIGIBLE. That should only mean that I should have not received an offer, I should have not pass an initial screening process because again, I am not at all eligible. It is a false or misleading act that only causes a hard inquiry on my report. The process did not even take a couple of minutes because I AM NOT ELIGIBLE. It is nonsensical of them to invite customers then just turn us down because WE ARE NOT EVEN ELIGIBLE.
