Consumer Narrative
Credit reporting agencies do not provide credit scores for free, nor will they provide all of your credit scores. This is harmful to consumers. Credit reporting agencies should be required to provide ALL credit scores they provide to creditors, lenders, insurance companies, etc., and explain the differences between those scores. Why in this day and age has XXXX not passed a law that allows consumers to have immediate, and always available access to not just their credit reports, which they can only get for free once per year, but also access to ALL of the credit scores that a credit reporting agency will generate for use by their paying creditors. Credit reporting agencies make the vast majority of their profits from creditors who request credit scores and reports on consumers, so stop making consumers have to pay for this information and make it always available and make ALL information available, not just a credit report. Scores are what matters, and consumers should be able to know each and every score that a credit reporting agency maintains about them, and they should be able to get this information at no cost, and on an immediate basis.
