The inaccurate information was placed back onto my credit report. I have been requesting an re-investigation on this account, and I have not heard from XXXX. According to the Fair Credit Act section 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ), you are required by federal law to verify, through the physical verification of the original signed consumer contract, and all accounts that you post on a credit report. I demanded to see verifiable proof. Under federal law, XXXX had 30 days to complete the reinvestigation. I am respectfully requesting a deletion of this account with Capital One.
