Received Notice of Servicing Transfer from XXXX ( by Dovenmuehle Mortgage IncXXXX " DMI '' ) for my home loan. That is their right. However, if my understanding is correct, according to 12 CFR Part 1024.33 ( b ) ( 3 ) ( i ) General, the transferor ( XXXX [ DMI ] in this case ) is required to provide notice to the borrower not less than 15 days prior to the effective date of the transfer. We received the notice on XX/XX/2022 ; the effective date of the transfer is XX/XX/2022. That is only FIVE DAYS. We should have received the notice no later than XX/XX/2022. No excuses of the mail running late is acceptable on their end. None of my other mail has been delayed ( including from the XXXX XXXX ) even factoring a 5-7 days turnaround time the USPS has stated. If I was late on my mortgage payment, XXXX would expect me to pay a late fee right? It is XXXX 's responsibility to ensure the notice gets to the borrower ON TIME. XXXX is in violation of 12 CFR Part 1024 as stated above and should be fined.
