The company XXXX finally responded that the account is accurate on XX/XX/18 to CFPB but they would put it on hold until they could verify it with the creditor. That is not true. I do not owe them or the creditor they are collecting for. They also responded that my name is XXXX XXXX that is inaccurate as well. Which shows me that the company frequently makes mistakes. The company responded that the collection would be put on hold and reinvestigated. The collection still shows on my credit report as of today. I would like it removed completely. I have yet to receive anything from XXXX, the credit bureau, or from the creditor to show that the account is accurate. I spoke with the original creditor over a month ago and still havent received anything to show I owe them. This inaccurate account has caused significant financial and emotional harm to me. Equifax has failed to properly investigate the inaccuracy. My rights have been violated and I want it stop now.
