Over the past year, Experian has repeatedly refused to remove unverifed Bankruptcy from my credit report therefore defaming my character. When I call by phone asking for their source of the bankruptcy I'm told it's XXXX XXXX. When I have asked for that to be sent to me in writing per FCRA guidelines, I'm told they are not required to provide me this information which is a direct violation of FCRA. Experian website states their data source is XXXX XXXX. So in XX/XX/2022, after Experian once again claimed the XXXX as supposedly legally verified I contacted XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX subsequently deleted the XXXX from both their verified and unverified files. Therefore, by law, Experian should have deleted the bankruptcy and yet they have refused to do so. This is yet another violation of the FCRA and my consumer rights. Furthermore, there are clear discrepancies with the bankruptcy listed ; it has way too many name variations, it does not include my DOB or full social security number. Just another reason why it should be deleted from my profile. Experian is in clear violation of FCRA guidelines and my consumer rights.
