Around the XX/XX/2022 time frame, I switched my cellular carrier from XXXX to XXXX XXXX, which is a re-seller for XXXX services as this change lowered my service costs. Consumer cellular said that they would take care of the steps needed to make the change and cancel my XXXX account. Some time passed and I was still getting bills from XXXX and after numerous conversations with XXXX, I found out they were still billing us for our XXXX watches. We finally got that settled and made sure that any remaining charges were paid and based on XXXX inquires to XXXX, our balance was XXXX. Sometime during this lengthy transition a collection bill for {$420.00} shows up claiming I owe XXXX more money. First off, I always had my payments on auto-pay and I never had late payments a, nd bills that showed up from XXXX during this process, I either paid or contacted XXXX to take care of it. Sometime in XXXX, this company, Creedence Resource Management filed a collection notice saying I owe {$420.00} to XXXX which now, has taken my hard earned credit score of XXXX down to XXXX for noting that I have done. I have repeatedly contacted XXXX and verified I owe them noting and I have no idea where this is coming from. I do know that someone is responsible for initiating this and I expect this to be corrected and removed from my credit reports. I am prepared to take legal action against this company for falsely filing a negative credit notice.
