I previously submitted a complaint via CFPB towards Equifax in regard to multiple unauthorized inquiries that were showing on my credit report due to fraud/identity theft. See complaint # XXXX. Overall, Equifax agreed to delete the fraudulent inquiries and gave their resolution to you that this will be deleted. However, they did not follow through and missed deleting one of the inquiries they said they would delete. As of XX/XX/XXXX, the fraudulent inquiry made on XX/XX/XXXX for company " XXXX XXXX '' also known as " XXXX XXXX XXXX '', still remains on my credit report, when it needed to be deleted. Equifax was not thorough and somehow missed this one.
