On XX/XX/2021, I submitted a mortgage application to PenFed Credit Union. As soon as I submitted the application, my credit was checked with all 3 credit bureas. I did agree to one hard pull to process the application. That was fine. However, on XX/XX/2021 when I called to follow up on the mortgage application, the mortgage specialist pull me on hold to review my application and documents, and he inadvertently requested my credit for a SECOND time. I pay for services that alert me when my credit is pulled. I immediately informed him over the phone of what happened. The representative was clueless and swore he did not request my credit again. Only 1 inquiry was needed. There was no need to run a second time. The representative though I was probably seeing the same as yesterday. I was very clear that it was two independent inquiries they ran. I provided evidence to PenFed on multiple occasions, called over the phone, spoke to multiple departments and kept complaining and PenFed took no action. At the time, they were perplexed because in their system they couldn't see that my credit was pulled twice. I had to send them the evidence, and even with the evidence, they took no action! It has been well over a year and the additional credit inquiry from XX/XX/2021 is still on all my 3 credit reports. I'm attaching evidence of the inquiries on XXXX and XXXX. These are also showing on transunion. Please have them all removed.
