In XX/XX/2022 I called Discover to inform them that I am moving to XXXX and not to accept any charges since I won't be using my card there. I asked Discover not to honor any of the recurring charges and I was informed that my request will be honored. On my end I also closed all the recurring charge account such as XXXX, XXXX and XXXX since I am moving XXXX Just today I found out that the recurring charges went through ( some of them were even manually entered ) and I was charged for the account I no longer had. Discover refused not to only protect my account which I closed while realizing that the company doesn't care about my safety as cardmember but also to dispute the charges. In the 40 min phone call I spoke with three people and at the end the dispute dept woman told me that she can not even find my account whether by the SS # or credit card number just as if the account doesn't exist.
