We took a 6-month forbearance in 2021 through XXXXXXXX XXXX. Immediately upon the end of the forebearance, we negotiated a loan modification to include the amount owed rolled into a new loan at a higher interest rate ( of course ). During the end of this loan modification process, XXXX bought our loan and has not updated our our account with the signed loan modification - even though we have provided the signed modification that is currently on our XXXXXXXX XXXX account website, along with our payment history. We have not missed a payment. XXXX also has documentation of us honoring the terms of our loan modification on their website but said administrative issues have precluded them from transferring the modification and updating our account properly. I have a signed copy of our notarized modification, and both XXXX and XXXX have documentation showing we have met the terms of payment. We would like to sue XXXX and XXXX for mishandling our loan modification and causing harm to our credit report and livelihoods.
