I was notified last night that my Experian account 's email credentials had changed. I called and confirmed that someone else had recovered my account, changed the username, the email address and the phone number to something else. They could not give me more information. They claimed additional information will be sent to me in the next five business days. I want to file a police report just to go on record of this event, but the XXXX police department requires that I already filed a complaint with the FTC. The FTC website sent me here. I've restored access to my Experian account, changed the email, password and phone number back to mine. I dont know what else to do.
